Ciao! Welcome to Luminanza Designs!

Luminanza Designs evolved after my most recent trip to Northern Italy with my best friend of many years who is Italian, and our daughters.

While shopping in the amazing little town of Sirmione on Lago di Garda at the foot of the Alps, we came across this beautifully unique necklace that I fell in love with and this was the inspiration for designing what is now my original collection, "Michela" which is named after my girlfriend's daughter.

I had the wonderful fortune of having spent several months in Northern Italy with my girlfriend after we graduated college and then making subsequent trips with her as she spends her summers there since her family lives there. Through these experiences and opportunities, I have acquired a great passion, appreciation, and affinity for the magnificence, beauty and artistry of all things Italian and from this, comes the continuing muse for my designs.

Luminanza is an Italian word which means luminous and shimmering.

Hopefully, this is not only how my pieces look when they are worn, but is is also how you feel when you wear them.

Since my pieces are custom made to order prices vary based on the collections and are then specifically determined based on the types, shapes and sizes of the stones used. Prices generally start at about $25 for a simple pair of earrings and would go up from there for bracelets and necklaces. I would be more than happy to provide you with pricing estimates on pieces based on your selections.
